If your business has been getting pounded by companies wanting to do another ERC analysis for you, you're not alone.
Effective immediately, IRS is putting a hold on processing all new ERC claims. It's because many of the recently submitted claims have been bogus. Unregulated companies have reached out to far too many small businesses and when processing those claims, IRS turns them down. The application timeframe for ERC is running out and these firms are stepping up their aggressive marketing .
If you already have submitted your ERC application, IRS will continue to process. You should respond promptly for any requests for additional information.
IRS will reconsider processing newly submitted claims after December 31.
For most of you, you already submitted your erc claims last year and have already received payment.
