The NBA Finals are coming up and we've been getting questions about whether or not event tickets are tax deductible.

Let us cover the rules.

First off, you should know that meals and drinks at events like concerts and sporting events are 100% tax deductible. That's huge!

Unfortunately, tickets for clients are non deductible.

So if you choose to skip the game, take your clients to a bar or restaurant and all meals and drinks are 100% tax deductible.

If you want to stay in, throw a business party at your house, and all food and drink is 100% tax deductible.
